The Trained Nurses Association of India is a national body of nurse practitioners at various levels, founded on 1908 registered under the socities Act XXI of 1860 on June 16,1917 under the Reg No. : 199. TNAI has its headquarters in L-16/17, Florence Nightingale Lane, Green Park, New Delhi. It has been recognized by the Government of India as Service Organization. Its network is spread over through its 32 state branches and it has membership of nearly 3,00,000 inculding student nurses in india.
Punjab State Branch of Trained Nurses Association of India(TNAI) imparting training and professional guidance and providing platform to the nurses to ventilate their grievances and problems. Punjab state branch of TNAI represent 56,517 trained nurses and its sister branch Student Nurses Association (SNA) represent more than 20,000 nurses student of Punjab studying in 22 M.Sc. Nursing Colleges, 102 B.Sc. Nursing Colleges, 127 Schools of Nursing and 35 ANM Schools of Nursing in Punjab.
